A purpose-built unmanned rescue vessel

Guardian II is a fast rescue and recovery craft designed to extend the operational envelope of conventional fast rescue craft. Capable of crewed or remote operation, it can perform multiple roles including search, patrol, standby and person-in-water recovery.

Integrated with Zelim’s Swift rescue conveyor, Guardian II enables the rapid recovery of people and equipment from the water, reducing the need to put additional personnel at risk. Optional ZOE intelligent detection provides enhanced situational awareness and supports remote and unmanned operation.

Remote-first design

Operate Guardian II remotely or unmanned, reducing the need to put personnel at risk during rescue, patrol and standby operations.

Integrated detection & recovery technology

Combines Zelim’s Swift rescue conveyor for rapid recovery with optional ZOE intelligent detection for enhanced situational awareness and remote operation.

Flexible operation

Operate fully crewed or single-handed when required, providing flexibility across a wide range of maritime operations.

Infrastructure compatible

Designed to fit into existing davits and the same footprint as a conventional fast rescue craft.

Close standby support

Autonomous loiter capability enables Guardian II to provide persistent close standby support.

Validated in real-world conditions

Guardian II has undergone structured sea trials to validate remote operation, launch procedures and coordinated recovery performance in operational maritime conditions.

With instant launch capability and transit speeds of up to 39 knots, the vessel is engineered to reduce time to rescue. It is capable of recovering both conscious and unconscious casualties and incorporates onboard medical provision for manned or unmanned response.
