    Founder & CEO

    Sam, a seasoned mariner with experience ranging from dinghies to 40,000-tonne vessels, brings firsthand knowledge of maritime emergencies to his role at Zelim. His innovative concept of unmanned rescue, born from real-world experience, has revolutionised search and rescue capabilities. Recognised in Forbes’ 30 Under 30 Europe 2024 – Technology, Sam now leads Zelim’s efforts to commercialise advanced lifesaving solutions and secure strategic investments.

    COO

    Former Innovation Director and VP at Survitec, Stewart brings extensive maritime safety expertise to Zelim. With a background in the RAF and a track record of successful product development, including the award-winning Seahaven life raft, he now spearheads the commercial rollout of Zelim’s lifesaving solutions.

    Andy has spent much of his career commercialising novel technologies in the maritime world, spending 8 years in offshore wind, where he founded the industry’s first technology accelerator, the Launch Academy. Andy joined Zelim as a co-founder in 2019 and has taken Zelim’s technology for search, rescue and security from idea on a page to global commercial rollout. Andy leads on strategy and new markets.

    CFO

    Alan brings over 20 years’ experience in the energy sector, having held several senior finance roles up to CFO level, including leading a successful exit to a US-listed business. At Zelim, he is heavily involved in fundraising and investor relations, alongside overseeing financial stewardship, legal governance and HR, supporting the company’s strategic growth and international expansion’ feel free to tweak how you see fit.

    Regional Director APMEA

    Barry Park brings over 15 years of senior leadership experience, including 14 years as Managing Director, driving international expansion and commercial growth in the maritime and energy sectors. He is now Regional Director – APMEA at Zelim Ltd, leading growth and strategic partnerships across Asia Pacific, the Middle East and Africa. Barry focuses on strengthening regional presence, building partnerships, and advancing life-saving maritime technologies.

    Hughes

    Technical Director

    Rory is an experienced engineer who specialises in working on large-scale radar processing as well as consumer mobile phone algorithms. He leads the development of the ZOE product and sits across software, machine learning, sensors and processing technology. He laid the cornerstones of the ZOE stack and has been building an engineering team and culture around quality, innovation and scaleability since 2023

    Director of Sales – Cruise

    Mike began his career in the Royal Navy as an engineer (radars and combat systems). He gained further technology and project management experience (telecoms and surveillance), before joining Carnival Corporation, where among his other responsibilities, he led the ISO working group on the creation of ISO21195:2020 – Man Overboard Detection. Mike spent 5 years at a competitor, where he led Business Development for man overboard and defence opportunities. At Zelim, Mike is focused on delivering sales in the Cruise and Defence sectors.

    Director of IT, Infrastructure & Security

    Graeme is an experienced technology professional with a background spanning IT operations, systems engineering and technical leadership across multiple organisations. He has worked in fast-paced, mission-critical environments, supporting complex infrastructure and delivering reliable, scalable solutions. Graeme brings a pragmatic, detail-driven approach to problem solving and is passionate about using technology to improve performance, resilience and real-world outcomes.

    Head of Marketing

    An experienced senior marketer with over a decade in B2B marketing, including four years in deep-tech within the maritime and offshore sectors. She brings combined marketing and commercial experience, spanning offshore energy and maritime technology. Formerly trained and qualified as a commercial lawyer in Edinburgh, her background includes complex stakeholder environments, regulated markets and strategic positioning of technical solutions.

    Programme Manager

    Louise has a varied breadth of experience delivering projects at scale in banking, finance, education and technology. Originally trained in law, Louise has an extensive academic background, and a successful track record implementing and scaling business processes and controls. Louise now manages the PMO office at Zelim, leading a project team working on client deliveries and business change initiatives.

    Stephen is a highly experienced Health, Safety, Environment and Quality professional with over 20 years of expertise across the Commercial, Aerospace and Maritime sectors. Throughout his career, he has developed and led robust management systems that drive regulatory compliance, operational excellence, and product assurance in safety-critical environments. A recognised subject matter expert in Human Factors and Just Culture, Stephen brings a deep understanding of how organisational behaviour, leadership and systems influence safety performance.

    Julie, an experienced product manager with a background in highly regulated industries, including pharmaceuticals and health tech. Julie specialises in turning complex requirements into scalable, user-centred solutions. With a strong focus on compliance, quality, and measurable impact, she bridges the gap between technical teams and commercial strategy to deliver products that perform in demanding, real-world environments.
