Next-generation
unmanned rescue vessel

Guardian

Advanced rescue capability

  • Remove crew from harm

Conduct rescue, patrol and standby operations without placing personnel into hazardous sea states or high-risk situations.

  • Rescue beyond-human limits

Operate in conditions restricted to conventional fast rescue craft – without fatigue, seasickness or crew endurance constraints.

  • Flexible modes of operation

Operate fully crewed, single-handed, remotely or semi-autonomously, fitting seamlessly into existing FRC infrastructure.

The world’s first unmanned fast rescue craft, engineered to remove the human constraint.

Lifeboat incidents remain a leading cause of seafarer fatalities. The Guardian unmanned FRC redefines maritime response by removing the risk to crew, such as sea state thresholds, fatigue and exposure. Rescue, patrol and standby operations can continue when conventional fast rescue craft must stand down.

Fitted with integrated detection and mechanical recovery, Guardian delivers rapid person-in-water response, persistent patrol capability and controlled asset retrieval, without placing lives at risk.

Remote-first design

Purpose-built for remote and autonomous command, maintaining full operational control at a safe distance.

Integrated detection + recovery

Fitted with ZOE and the Swift rescue conveyor, Guardian delivers detection and recovery as one coordinated onboard system.

Continuous mission readiness

Available on demand without reliance on crew endurance, watch rotations or physical exposure limits.

Infrastructure compatible

Designed to integrate with existing launch systems and vessel control infrastructure.

Controlled risk

Removes the need for onboard crew, reducing exposure to danger

Validated in real-world conditions

Guardian has undergone structured sea trials to validate remote operation, launch procedures and coordinated recovery performance in operational maritime conditions.

With instant launch capability and transit speeds of up to 35 knots, the vessel is engineered to reduce time to rescue. It is capable of recovering both conscious and unconscious casualties and incorporates onboard medical provision for manned or unmanned response.
